How do I know when it's time to come in for a checkup?We want you to have a great smile for life, so we'll do everything possible to keep you on schedule for getting your teeth checked and cleaned. We'll send a postcard and give you a call to remind you of your appointment time and date.
What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?Call the office emergency numbers (+63920) 921-6152 or (+63920) 803-5156 or (+632) 497-9080.
My child has had an accident and his/her tooth has been entirely knocked out. What do I do?Rinse the tooth—don't scrub or scrape it—and put it in a glass of milk. Then call our office as soon as possible to arrange for your child to see Dr. Cielo.
How can I safely whiten my teeth?We offer both Zoom in-office bleaching and Opalescent take-home whitening kits. Both are safe and effective. We'll be glad to discuss which method best suits your personal needs.
What precautions do you take to ensure patient safety?We take many precautions, starting with state-of-the-art sterilization equipment. We also use barriers, such as gloves and clear plastic drapes over instruments to ensure your maximum safety.
What makes you different than any other dental practice I can visit?We like to think that our care for you as a patient as well as the quality of our dentistry sets us apart. Your comfort and concern is our number one priority, and we're not happy unless you're happy.
My gums bleed after I brush. Is this something to be concerned about?Yes. Bleeding gums are often a sign of periodontal disease, which can cause bone and tooth loss. Periodontal (gum) disease has also been linked to systemic problems such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes. We'll help you avoid periodontal disease in the first place with a good preventive care program.
I really do not like visiting the dentist, is there anything you can do to help me relax?Our entire office is calming, starting with the warm earth tones and spa-like atmosphere of our waiting room. We can also help you relax during treatment with nitrous oxide (laughing gas). For patients who are especially fearful we offer oral sedation. If you're nervous, just tell us. There are ways we can help you make it through!
Crowns, veneers, on-lays, inlays and partials…where can I learn more about these procedures?There are many modern dental procedures we can use to improve your smile in a much shorter time than you imagine. We'll be glad to explain and show you pictures of any or all of these procedures.

How does Dr. Adajar keep up to date with all of the current techniques and materials?Dr. Adajar loves dentistry, so she is always fascinated with changes and new developments in the field. She attends several continuing education courses a year at some of the finest dental institutions in the country. Most of these courses focus on the latest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Adajar also follows up her training by attending many study clubs associated with these dental institutions. Since she knows how important staying on top of the field is, Dr. Adajar encourages the rest of her staff to be lifelong learners. She is also active in a variety of prominent dental organizations, such as the Philippine Dental Association, Phillipine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, Makati Dental Society, American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the America Equilibration Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. What different payment options do you provide?Our office accepts cash, check and credit cards, including Master Card and Visa. Any amount not covered by your insurance is your responsibility. If you need financial assistance, we offer affordable outside financing with the Capital One Healthcare Finance. How can I safely whiten my teeth?With so many whitening products being advertised on the market, many of our patients ask about the best method to whiten their teeth. Since each mouth is unique, we need to evaluate your teeth in order to recommend a specific product. If your teeth are cracked, chipped or discolored, Dr. Yoshimura may recommend one of our restorative services, such as veneers or bonding. If you want to bleach your teeth, we offer several bleaching products, including Zoom®, Opalescence®, Nite White®, or Day White®. I want my front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What would you recommend?We offer several cosmetic services to improve the appearance of your front teeth. Dr. Yoshimura is certified in Invisalign®. With this product, we place a customized retainer in your mouth. As you wear it over a period of a few weeks, your teeth will be moved into the desired position. Dr. Yoshimura may also recommend veneers, crowns or bonding to correct smaller problems with your front teeth. After listening to your goals and concerns, he can suggest ways to help you straighten your smile.
What is Smile Analysis?In a smile analysis, Dr. Yoshimura looks at all the factors that compose a smile: the shape of a smile, the size, the smile line; and the position of your teeth, lips, and gums when you smile. He listens carefully to your concerns and what you want to accomplish. Once we have this information, we can provide a custom smile design.
What is Smile Design?Dr. Yoshimura can use his digital imaging system to create images of your new smile. He can also have his lab assistant create wax-ups of your new smile. From there, we can see what your new smile will look like and even let you test drive your teeth. We can then review the smile design results with you and discuss the next steps to make it happen.
